For L&D and training teams

Turn your PowerPoint into a training video, not a silent slideshow.

File → Export gives you a slideshow that plays itself. Colossyan gives the same deck an AI presenter reading your speaker notes, knowledge checks, SCORM your LMS can track, and a version in every language you train in.

What goes in, what comes out

Your deck goes in. A training video your LMS can track comes out.

The same project also reads PDFs, Word docs, a wiki page or a script, so the deck is a starting point rather than the only one.

Start with the deck. Then everything else you already have.

How it works

From .pptx upload to an LMS package, the same afternoon.

Three steps. Nothing renders until you approve it, and drafts and previews are free.

  1. Drop in the .pptx

Cora reads the slide content, the charts and tables, and the speaker notes, then tells you what it found before it drafts anything.

    Importing a document into Colossyan
  2. Direct the draft, do not rebuild the deck

Speaker notes become the narration. Edit any line, swap a scene, add a knowledge check, pick the presenter and the languages. Every scene cites the slide it came from.

Editing scenes and narration in the Colossyan editor
  3. Publish where training lives

Export an MP4 up to 1080p, or a SCORM package your LMS tracks for completion and quiz scores. Translate the same project in one click.

Before you use File → Export

Export makes a video. It does not make training.

PowerPoint's File → Export
A silent slideshow, or narration you record yourself
Slides play as flat frames, nothing on screen presents them
No quizzes, nothing a learner has to answer
An MP4 file, and no way to report completion
Re-record the narration every time a slide changes
One language, one version, one audience
Colossyan
An AI presenter reads the speaker notes you already wrote
Text, shapes, charts and tables arrive as editable scene elements
Knowledge checks and branching in the same project
SCORM 1.2 and 2004 4th edition, with completion and scores
Edit the line, that scene re-renders on its own
100+ languages with lip-synced delivery, from one project

If you need the deck as a plain MP4 for a one-off share, File → Export is free and already on your machine. Use it. This is for a deck a team has to finish, pass, and read in six languages next quarter.

Why training teams pick it

Your deck can play itself. It cannot report back.

A native export makes a video file. It does not narrate your notes, quiz anyone, reach your LMS, or exist in Spanish next week.

Runs on your stack

The deck reaches the LMS as a SCORM package, not an email attachment.

FAQ

The questions L&D teams ask us first.

Two routes. PowerPoint does it itself under File → Export → Create a Video, free, and you get an MP4 of the slides with whatever narration you recorded. Colossyan reads the .pptx instead, brings your text, charts and tables in as editable scenes, turns the speaker notes into narration an AI presenter delivers, and exports MP4 or SCORM. Slide-level animations do not survive either route, so plan to re-animate in Colossyan if the motion matters.

In PowerPoint, File → Export → Create a Video, choose a resolution, then Create Video. You get a slideshow at your recorded timings with no presenter. In Colossyan you upload the same .pptx and export an MP4 up to 1080p with an AI presenter, your brand kit and captions, then re-export it in another language without touching the deck again.

Yes, and both routes end in an MP4. The difference is what is inside it and what happens next: the Colossyan version has a presenter reading your notes, knowledge checks if you add them, and a SCORM twin your LMS can track. Changing it later means editing a sentence rather than recording again.

Yes. The Colossyan free plan includes the creation features and needs no credit card, so you can build and preview a real training video before you talk to anyone. SCORM export starts on the Professional plan, which is the point at which an LMS is involved.

Colossyan exports SCORM 1.2 from both Colossyan Video and Colossyan Learn, and SCORM 2004 4th edition from Colossyan Video. Every export is tested against SCORM Cloud, and customers run the packages on Moodle, Cornerstone, Docebo, 360Learning, TalentLMS and Litmos. Completion, quiz scores and progress carry through. Professional includes five SCORM exports a month and Enterprise is unlimited. xAPI is on the roadmap.

Nothing. Viewers are unlimited with no per-learner fee, so publishing a module to the whole workforce does not change the bill. Per-seat viewer pricing is the line item that turns a pilot into a budget problem, so it is worth asking every vendor on your shortlist.
