The slide-based incumbents are Articulate Storyline and Rise, Adobe Captivate and iSpring Suite, and they are the right answer if you want to design every screen by hand. Colossyan Learn works the other way round: it starts from a document, a brief or a topic, generates a structured course with video lessons, quizzes and assessments, and exports a SCORM package for your LMS. Articulate Storyline is the best-known example: a desktop-style tool where you build a course slide by slide. Colossyan Learn is an authoring tool too, but the unit of work is a lesson rather than a slide, and the video presenter, the knowledge check and the SCORM package are generated in the same place. Both produce something your LMS can import.
An authoring tool and an LMS are different things, and Colossyan is the first of those two. Colossyan Learn does not replace your LMS; it replaces the authoring and video production in front of it, then hands over a SCORM package.
